Building materials Limab Oy provides measuring equipement for the building material industry from measuring raw materials to the measuring of dimensions and profiles of the final product. The main line of products are 3D-log scanners from the Finnish company Visiometric Oy which can be utilized for for example in the plywood industry to optimize the cutting of the logs in exact lengths for the peeling process. Laser-based sensors and systems, from the Swedish Limab Ab can be used in the board industry to measure various profiles and dimensions. Prodcuts are for example thickness measuring systems for different types of boards and veneer. Limab AB also provides a complete turn key system for gypsum boards. In addition Limab Oy cooperates with Rema Control Ab in using x-ray scanning for grading logs.
